Manipulation often rooted in Jealousy and deception — Rev. Michael Banson

Rev. Michael Banson urges caution in dealing with overly ambitious individuals

Rev. Michael Banson of Holy Fire Revival Ministries, Community 4, has highlighted jealousy and deception as some of the key traits associated with manipulative behaviour.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nyansapo Fie programme hosted by Akosua Gyamfua, Rev. Banson explained that manipulation often stems from jealousy, with some individuals deliberately seeking to make others feel envious through their actions.

He noted that manipulation is prevalent in many workplaces, where some people resort to deceptive tactics to secure positions or opportunities they do not rightfully deserve.

According to him, manipulators also attempt to take credit for work they did not contribute to, thereby depriving deserving individuals of the recognition and rewards they have earned.

Rev. Banson further stated that dishonesty is a common characteristic of manipulators, as they frequently use lies to mislead others. However, he stressed that the truth eventually comes to light, as people are often able to discern and expose falsehoods over time.
