Rev. Manful urges people to be mindful of their words

Rev. Manful urges people to be mindful of their words

Rev. Manful has cautioned people against careless speech at home, in schools and in churches, describing loose talk as dangerous and warning that words can have serious consequences.

Speaking on managing a loose talker at home, school and church on Nyansapo Fie, Plan B FM’s family, relationship and lifestyle programme, hosted by Akosua Gyamfua, Rev. Manful described a loose talker as someone who talks excessively or carelessly without considering the impact of their words.

He explained that loose talking is influenced by a person’s character and attitude, noting that such individuals may disclose confidential information or reveal secrets without considering whether their actions could hurt others.

Rev. Manful further observed that some loose talkers can be deceptive and creative in the way they deceive others, while showing little concern about verifying the possible harm their words or actions may cause.

He stressed that speech is one of the most powerful gifts God has given humanity and emphasised that words carry great power. He also noted that words are recorded in the spiritual realm and urged people to use their speech positively by saying good things to others.
