Former Ghana High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Ambassador Emmanuel Victor Smith has describe MP for Awutu Senya East, and minister of fisheries and Acqua Culture development, Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson as unfit for her portfolio in government.
The former spokesperson for late President and founder for Jerry John Rawlings, said to Kofi Owusu on Adekye Mu Nsem show on Thursday 17th March, 2022 on the “Thursday Class”
He expressed disappointment at the appointment committee for allowing the calibre of Hawa Koomson to serve as a Minister under President Akufo Addo.
The outspoken stalwart in the NDC chastised the economic management team, and vice President Dr Mahmud Bawumia for bringing untold hardships on Ghanaians. Especially matters arising from the recent fuel increments which have seen sharp price hikes at the pumps. A litre of patrol and diesel are sold at gh¢11-12.
Patrol is increased at 14%, and Diesel 27% respectively in the first quarter of 2022 pricing window.
