Pastor expresses concern over sex education in schools

Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Anning, Head Pastor of Daxa Citadel in Accra, has raised concerns about the introduction of sex education in schools.

In a recent interview on Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie show with Nana Asabea, he emphasized the need for safeguards to protect students.

While acknowledging that sex is a natural part of life, Rev. Dr. Anning warned that poorly managed sex education could lead to teachers taking advantage of students.

“We must ensure that our children are protected and that any education provided is age-appropriate and delivered by trusted educators,” he stressed.

However, Rev. Sam Manful, founder and Head Pastor of the Global Ark Church, has made a bold declaration that has sent shockwaves through the faith community.

“The church has fallen short of God’s expectations in upbringing children and needs for reflection and improvement,” he declared.

His candid remark has challenged the status quo and encouraged believers to re-examine their values and practices in child upbringings.
