Kalnja Ntetimi Silas has formally withdrawn from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) contest for the position of 2nd Vice Chairman in the Bimbilla constituency.

“I write to formally withdraw from the NPP election contest for the position of 2nd Vice Chairman for the Bimbilla constituency. I took this decision in consultation with my family not to continue with the contest this year,” he said.

Mr. Silas explained that he decided in the interest of party unity and to preserve the peace and brotherly relations in the constituency.

He said he withdrew to allow his brother to retain the 2nd Vice Chairman position and to respect the wishes of Konkomba leaders and other opinion leaders.

He appealed to his supporters and family members to remain calm, to join hands in supporting party activities, and to accept the decision of their leaders.

“Thank you all, and may God bless the New Patriotic Party and strengthen the unity of our party in the constituency for victory in 2028,” he added.
