Sorting and counting of ballot papers in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency elections at Odododiodioo in the Greater Accra Region have been suspended following violence shortly after voting ended.
The incident disrupted the electoral process as party members gathered at the venue to elect constituency executives.

The circumstances that triggered the violence and whether anyone was injured or property damaged remain unclear.
It is also not yet known when sorting and counting will resume or what measures party officials will take to restore order and complete the process.
