FC Ashantigold has terminated the contracts of head coach Abdul Karim Kabutey Zito, assistant coach Ernest Okyere and goalkeeper trainer Robert Dabo with immediate effect.
The decision was announced in a statement dated Tuesday, October 27, 2026, following a consultative meeting held by the club’s Interim Management Committee on Monday, October 26.
According to the statement, Coach Zito, who also served as the club’s technical director, and the two other technical team members have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.
The club has subsequently appointed a caretaker coach to manage the team’s affairs until a substantive head coach and technical director are appointed.
Management expressed gratitude to the departing officials for their contributions and service to the club, wishing them well in their future endeavours.
