Sam Anoon of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for recognition of the government’s ongoing development efforts, insisting that projects are being undertaken across various sectors and communities in Ghana.
Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nkosuonsem, hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi, he maintained that the administration was pursuing development initiatives aimed at improving living conditions and addressing the needs of Ghanaians.
He stressed the importance of creating employment opportunities, both locally and internationally, particularly for health workers and other professionals seeking opportunities abroad. He also highlighted the role of the private sector in generating jobs and contributing to national development.
Anoon argued that development initiatives were being implemented simultaneously across different parts of the country, suggesting that the scale of ongoing projects reflected the government’s commitment to its development agenda.
He further maintained that the country had experienced periods when progress across several sectors was limited, contrasting those experiences with what he described as the current administration’s efforts to advance development in multiple areas.
The NDC member urged critics to acknowledge the projects being undertaken, insisting that the government should be allowed to continue its work and pursue its plans for national development.
