Words have power”: Lady Hanson urges mindful speech

“Risk Takers Are Adventurous And; Faith-Based” – Lady Hanson
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

”In a powerful reminder, Lady Charlotte Hanson, Head of Public Relations Co-ordinating Division at the Information Service Department, has emphasised the importance of guarding one’s mouth and tongue to avoid calamity.

In an interview with Odiamono Kwaku Gyimah on Plan B FM’s social and lifestyle show, Nyansapɔ Fie, Lady Hanson shared valuable insights. “The tongue is insignificant but more powerful than can be expected. Use it wisely, speak life into your vision, marriage, education, and every area of life,” she said, referencing Proverbs 21:23.

Lady Hanson encouraged individuals to counterattack negative words with positivity, highlighting the impact of words on reality. “As God used words in creation, so does man use words to create situations for themselves.” She warned that even unspoken thoughts can have consequences, stressing the importance of sowing positive thoughts and watering them with positive words.

“Be mindful of your environment and speak positive words. Always learn the environment you are in and speak positive words,” she reiterated. By doing so, individuals can harness the power of words to create a more desirable reality.

Citing Joshua 1:8, Lady Hanson encouraged individuals to meditate on God’s Word and speak life into every situation, unlocking a more fulfilling life through the power of positive speech.
