On Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie show with Nana Asabea, Lady Rev. Charlotte Hanson, Head of Public Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, revealed that repentance is the crucial key to unlocking healing and restoration.

She emphasized that by acknowledging and turning away from our wrongdoings, we can pave the way for emotional and spiritual healing, ultimately leading to restoration and redemption.

“‘Even our righteousness is like a filthy rag before God,” Lady Rev. Hanson noted, ”hence the reason for always seeking forgiveness from our heavenly Father.”

She stressed that as we sin daily, it’s essential to accept our wrongdoings in good faith, seek forgiveness from our maker, and forgive ourselves as well.

Lady Rev. Hanson added that ”repentance is a platform for growth,” highlighting its transformative power in our lives.

Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels, an adjunct lecturer at the University of Media, Arts and Communication, emphasized the transformative power of self-repentance in fostering better relationships across various aspects of life, including home, workplace, family, community, and personal endeavours.

She stressed that self-repentance is a potent tool for personal healing, paving the way for peaceful coexistence and harmonious relationships.

”By acknowledging and turning away from our wrongdoings, we can break free from the bondage of sin, leading to profound personal growth and development,” she added.

Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels further explained that self-repentance involves introspection, self-awareness, and a willingness to confront and overcome our flaws and mistakes. This process, she noted, leads to increased emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding, which are essential for building strong, healthy relationships.

Moreover, Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels highlighted the benefits of self-repentance in the workplace, where it can lead to improved communication, collaboration, and productivity. In personal relationships, self-repentance can foster deeper connections, trust, and understanding. In the community, it can promote social cohesion, tolerance, and forgiveness.

Overall, Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels emphasized that self-repentance is a powerful catalyst for personal transformation and growth, leading to more harmonious and fulfilling relationships across all aspects of life.
