30yr Old Farmer Commits Suicide Over Unbearable Hardship And Neglect
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A 30 years old farmer has reportedly committed suicide at Yeji in the Bono East Region. According to the reports, he had previously lamented continuously over unbearable hardship and neglect. Neighbours felt that, the unusual situation compelled him to take his own life.

According to the Yeji Police, the farmer was found hanging in his own room. His body has been taken by the Ghana Police Service for further autopsy and investigation.

Speaking on Sunyani based Ark FM, the Police explained their readiness to make deep investigations about the matter. The family also gave their readiness and assurance to help the Ghana Police Service in every move they take regarding their relative.

” I’m really traumatised. We thought he had travelled or missing. The Police was informed. The circumstances surrounding this death is something I still don’t understand. Why should you kill yourself simply because you’re broke or feels neglected?” A neighbour Joyce Akua Danso spoke over the telephone to express his sadness.
