W/R: 14 Passengers Feared Dead In An Accident At Shama

Fourteen passengers are feared perished after they were involved in an accident at Asemasa near Beposo in the Shama district of the Western Region.

The accident which involved a Truck and a Ford Passenger vehicle, occurred on Tuesday March 22.

FATAL ACCIDENT BETWEEN A TRUCK AND A FORD PASSENGER VEHICLE AT ASEMASA NEAR BEPOSO IN THE SHAMA DISTRICT OF THE WESTERN REGION, TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

Eye witnesses said that the accident was a head-on collision. The two vehicles caught fire after colliding, an eye witness said.

Police and fire service are currently at the scene.
