We Have Officially Increase Transport Fares By 30%- Coalition Of Drivers Union

Mr David Agboado Public relations officer for concern Drivers Association in an interview with Bohyeba Afriyie on plan B fm’s Ebanoosen has disclosed that the coalition of all 16 drivers union have officially increased transport fares by 30% at a just ended meeting on February 3, 2021.

He said they used the right formula to increase which makes it very legal and even considered the hardship in the country hence the 30 %, otherwise it should have been more .
He said that the decision was taken based on inflation rate, price of spare part, price of lubricant, and the price of fuel.

He concluded that the leadership of the association will meet the minister of roads and transport on Monday. So it is after which the new fare will take effect.
