Two persons have reportedly died in a ghastly accident at Amangoase on the Kumasi-Bechem Highway, while two others have lost their legs after sustaining severe injuries.
According to reports, a KIA truck crashed head-on with a Benz bus with registration number AS 6129-X.
An eyewitness, Atuahene, in an interview with Dr Cash on OTEC FM, said the accident occurred on Friday afternoon August 28, 2026.
He noted that it took workers and machines from Kofi Job Construction Company to help extract trapped victims before officers of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) arrived at the scene.
He added that the deceased and the injured have all been conveyed to the hospital for preservation and treatment respectively.
