Rev Dr Emmanuel Aning Jnr, Head Pastor of Doxa Citadel, has issued a powerful call to trust in God as a defence against diabolical individuals.
In a thought-provoking interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s social and lifestyle programme, ‘Nyansapɔ Fie’, he emphasised the vital importance of faith and uprightness in the face of evil.
Referencing Sampson’s case, Rev Dr Aning noted, “It’s a two-fold approach. Whilst the devil may intend evil, God can use it for His gain. Sampson’s situation, from a spiritual perspective, was an example of this. He was pushed towards the Philistines to bring about their destruction.”
Decoding another victim of diabolical people, Rev Dr Aning noted that people might conclude Joseph, in order to have saved himself, should not have told his dreams to his brethren but it was later revealed in Psalm 105 that it was the Lord who used him in that manner hence Joseph not being bitter towards them.
“Understanding God’s intention in all situations, such as a very hard marriage or under a bad tax master, helps you learn in there,” he decoded.
Rev Aning Jnr advised seeking God’s guidance and grace to avoid pitfalls and ensure a strong foundation in marriage, stressing investigation before marriage due to tribal and town intermarriage restrictions. He encouraged listeners to be vigilant and seek God’s intervention to uncover destructive agendas.
Ultimately, he concluded by advising trust in God’s defence and guidance in all aspects of life, ensuring a strong foundation for individuals and families.
