Rev. Benjamin Boateng speaks on causes of stealing and human behaviour

Rev. Benjamin Boateng warns against harmful procrastination

Rev. Benjamin Boateng has shared his views on why some people develop the habit of stealing, suggesting that the behaviour can stem from both family background and learned experiences.

Speaking on the Nyansapo Fie show on Plan B 104.5 FM, Rev. Boateng explained that stealing can sometimes be seen as part of human behaviour, noting that certain attitudes may run through family bloodlines. According to him, when such tendencies exist within a lineage, they can influence individuals regardless of where or how they are raised.

He further illustrated his point by saying that even if a child is born into a highly spiritual environment or raised by a very anointed man of God, the influence of a family pattern could still manifest in the child’s actions.

However, the clergyman emphasized that not all cases of stealing are inherited. He noted that some people develop the habit through exposure, environment, or association with others who engage in such behaviour.

Rev. Boateng’s remarks formed part of a broader message encouraging people to reflect on their character and the influences that shape their actions. He urged individuals and families to instil strong moral values that can help guide future generations away from negative behaviours.
