Tipper truck runs over okada rider on Tema Motorway

E/R: Teacher, manager On Motorbike Crushed To Death By Truck

A commercial motorbike operator popularly known as ‘okada’ on Tuesday morning crashed to death at the  Tema Motorway.

Speaking to an eyewitness MC Nakay, on  Plan B FM mid-day news, he told Obidehye Kofi Sekyi that, the incident happened at about 11:20 am on Tuesday when the biker was trying to meander his way through the vehicles at an intersection where there was a little traffic

In the process, a tipper truck run over him killing him on the spot.

The identity is not yet known but the deceased is believed to be in his mid-30s, however, the police were invited to the scene to convey the body to the Tema General Hospital while efforts are underway to locate his family.
