The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has summoned Parliament to sit on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Speaker on Thursday, September 24, the sitting will take place at 12 noon at Parliament House in Accra.
The summons was issued pursuant to Article 112(3) of the 1992 Constitution and Order 53 of the Standing Orders of Parliament.
The notice, signed by the Speaker, states that the decision to summon Parliament is in accordance with the constitutional and parliamentary provisions governing the convening of the House.
The notice was dated September 24, 2026, and addressed to Parliament for the sitting scheduled for September 29.
