Reverend Benjamin Boateng has underscored the importance of maintaining a discerning mindset, describing discernment as a vital tool for navigating life’s challenges and making sound decisions.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nyansapo Fie programme, hosted by Akosua Gyamfua, Rev. Boateng explained that discernment is the ability to carefully assess situations and people, enabling individuals to distinguish between truth and falsehood, sincerity and pretense.

According to him, discernment is a gift from God that helps people identify deception, hidden motives, and misleading information. He noted that individuals with a discerning spirit are better able to recognize genuine love, honesty, and good intentions, while avoiding those who seek to deceive or manipulate others.

Rev. Boateng further stated that discernment is invaluable in various aspects of life, including employment, business, and investment decisions. He explained that a discerning person takes time to evaluate opportunities critically, helping to determine whether they are legitimate or fraudulent before making commitments.

He emphasized that people with discernment do not rush into decisions or make judgments based on assumptions. Instead, they carefully examine facts, analyze situations, and seek understanding before drawing conclusions.

The clergyman added that discernment serves as a safeguard against scams, fraud, and other forms of deception, making it an essential quality for personal growth and security.

He therefore encouraged individuals to intentionally develop a discerning mindset, noting that it promotes wisdom, sound judgment, and better decision-making.

In conclusion, Rev. Benjamin Boateng described discernment as a crucial virtue that everyone should cultivate, as it equips people to make informed choices and successfully navigate the complexities of life.
