The Ghana Police Service has assured applicants in its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise that the validation process is progressing smoothly, with successful candidates being invited in batches to designated centres across the country.
According to a statement issued by the Public Affairs Directorate on August 1, the validation exercise is aimed at verifying applicants’ academic certificates, examination results and other documents submitted during the initial stages of the recruitment process.
The Service said the first batch of successful applicants has already been invited and is currently undergoing the validation process.
It further clarified that applicants who have successfully completed the medical examination and have been declared medically fit but are yet to receive invitations for validation have not been left out. Rather, they remain in the recruitment pool and will be considered in subsequent batches.
The Police Service appealed to such applicants to remain patient, explaining that the recruitment process will continue in phases until 2028 in line with the established recruitment schedule.
The statement also urged applicants to disregard misinformation circulating about the exercise and warned them not to pay money to individuals claiming they can facilitate their recruitment into the Ghana Police Service.
