The Ashanti North Regional Police Command has launched an investigation into a viral video showing the alleged misconduct of a policewoman at Afrancho in the Akomadan District.
In a press release, the Command said the officer captured in the video has been identified and investigations have commenced to establish the full facts and circumstances surrounding the incident, which reportedly occurred on July 3, 2026.
According to the Police, appropriate action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigations.
The Command further assured the public of its commitment to professionalism, discipline, and accountability, adding that further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses
