NDC Suspends Communication Officer For Endorsing Akufo Addo

Lower west Akyem Constituency office of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Eastern Region have suspended its communication officer Ben Yamoah for endorsing the Municipal Chief Executive and the President Nana Akufo Addo for the massive development in the constituency.

Speaking on Plan B FM Morning Show ‘Nkosuo Nsem’, NDC Chairman in the Lower West Akyem Constituency Ibrahim Sunday said the Communication Officer acted in bad faith and he deserve to be suspended according to the Party’s Constitution.

“We were shocked when we heard he has endorsed and praised the Municipal Chief Executive. “He acted in defiance of the party’s constitution hence he had to be suspended,” He said

“The party executives in the constituency met yesterday and took a unanimous decision to suspend him. He acted in bad faith. As a result of that, we have decided to suspend him; for now he cannot speak for the party in the constituency as the Communication Officer, he has been suspended. Period! “He stressed

However, the suspended Communication Officer, Ben Yamoah has rejected the decision and described it as unconstitutional and saids he is still the communication Officer of the Party in the Lower West Akyem Constituency.
