Mahama is a listening president and will sign the LGBTQ bill once Parliament passes it, according to Sam Anoon, NDC Communications team member for Tema Central. His comments follow remarks by the Chief Imam, Sheik Sharabutu, who emphasized that the bill must be passed for the president to sign before he dies.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nkosuo Nsem, hosted by Kofi Sekyi, Anoon urged parliamentarians to invoke the certificate of emergency to fast-track the bill’s implementation, stressing the importance of swift action.
