GFA/AshantiGold injunction case adjourned to October 20
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Human Rights Division of an Accra High Court has adjourned the lawsuit involving Ashantigold and the Ghana Football Association to Thursday, October 20, 2022.

This is after the plaintiff, Ashantigold SC filed a supplementary affidavit on October 13, 2022, which was objected by the defendant, the Ghana Football Association.

The court was presided over by Judge Barbara Tetteh-Charway who set aside the initial supplementary Affidavit and asked Ashantigold to file a motion to seek to file the supplementary Affidavit on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Both parties are to reappear in court on October 20, 2022.

The latest decision means the Ghana Premier League is still suspended until the determination of the interlocutory injunction.
