The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced scheduled power outages in parts of Accra from Monday, October 12, to Wednesday, October 14, 2026, to undertake maintenance works aimed at improving electricity service delivery.

In notices issued on Sunday, October 11, ECG said the planned interruptions would affect several communities within the Accra West Region, with power supply expected to be interrupted daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Monday, October 12, the affected areas will include Mile 7 Estates, Caledonia Hotel, Great Gardens, Fountain Gate Church, ECO Block, Franco Estate, Pokuase BSP, Koans Estate and surrounding communities.

On Tuesday, October 13, the scheduled outage will affect Ameriya Last Stop and its surrounding areas.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, October 14, the maintenance exercise will affect Tabora Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6, Bankyease, Race Course, Alhaji, Kwashiebu, Gbawe Bulemin, Gonse, Joma, Agbozome, CP and surrounding areas.

ECG said the maintenance works form part of efforts to improve service delivery and apologised to customers in the affected communities for the inconvenience the temporary power interruptions may cause.

The company has urged residents and businesses within the affected areas to take note of the scheduled outages and make the necessary arrangements ahead of the maintenance exercise.
