Deputy Minister for Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, has stressed the need for credible data and evidence to guide education policies and reforms in Ghana.
Speaking at the dissemination of the 2025 Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) Endline Inspection Findings and Recommendations in Accra, Dr. Apaak said sustainable improvements in the education sector can only be achieved through accountability, continuous evaluation and informed decision-making.
He noted that the findings of the GALOP assessment provide valuable insights that should inform future policy decisions, resource allocation and targeted interventions aimed at improving learning outcomes across the country.
Dr. Apaak reaffirmed the government’s commitment to building an inclusive, accountable and responsive education system that meets the needs of all learners. He called on stakeholders, including education managers, teachers, development partners and policymakers, to use the report’s recommendations to strengthen school quality and ensure better educational outcomes for every Ghanaian child.
