Former Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has congratulated all newly elected constituency executives following the successful conduct of constituency elections across the country.
In a press release issued on Saturday, July 11, 2026, Dr. Bawumia said the election of the executives reflects the confidence and trust reposed in them by the grassroots of the party.
He expressed confidence that the newly elected leaders would provide the leadership, unity and commitment needed to strengthen the NPP and work tirelessly towards securing victory in the 2028 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Dr. Bawumia also appealed to unsuccessful aspirants to rally behind the newly elected executives and contribute to building a stronger and more united party.
According to him, every member has an important role to play in the party’s rebuilding efforts, stressing that unity remains the NPP’s greatest strength and the surest path to victory in 2028.
