In a landmark ruling, Her Honour Sedinam Awo Kwadam, a Circuit Court Judge, has directed the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the Highways Authority to ensure that all streetlights along major highways are fully operational. This judgment, seen as a significant step toward improving road safety, comes in response to growing concerns about the lack of functional

streetlights, which has contributed to accidents and heightened security risks.
