The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has declared Frank Danquah, born on September 11, 1978, wanted over his alleged involvement in suspected narcotics-related offences.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Commission appealed to the public for information that could assist in locating Mr Danquah.
NACOC urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Commission through its toll-free hotline, 0800 307 307.
The Commission did not disclose the specific offences for which Mr Danquah is wanted in the notice.
NACOC’s official wanted-persons page indicates that individuals on its wanted list may be sought in connection with offences under the Narcotics Control Commission Act, 2020 (Act 1019), including the importation or exportation, unlawful possession or control, and prohibited business involving narcotic drugs or plants.
The latest notice comes amid heightened scrutiny of Ghana’s narcotics-control system and investigations into suspected drug trafficking.
Earlier in September, authorities began investigating the alleged trafficking of about 3.9 tonnes of suspected cocaine from Ghana to France after the consignment was intercepted at Dunkirk.
Six people were subsequently remanded in connection with that case. Prosecutors alleged that four containers had undergone scanning at the Tema Port before being released for export despite abnormalities allegedly detected in the scan images.
NACOC has not indicated in its public notice that Mr Danquah is connected to the France cocaine case.
