Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has dismissed rumours of his resignation during a brief, impromptu interview with a man who approached him in public and asked why he had stepped down.
Responding to the question, the Portuguese tactician clarified that he remains in charge of the Black Stars and that his recent message was simply an expression of appreciation to Ghanaians.
“I have not resigned. I was just sending a message of gratitude to Ghanaians,” Queiroz said.
