The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has directed all its members across the country to actively participate in the nationwide General Cleaning Exercise scheduled for Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, 2026.

In a statement issued on Thursday, July 9, and signed by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP encouraged members to take part in the exercise as part of their commitment to environmental sanitation, civic responsibility, and national development.

The party noted that the exercise coincides with its Constituency Elections slated for Saturday, July 11. Consequently, members are being encouraged to join the cleaning exercise immediately after casting their ballots, since voting will be conducted on a walk-in basis.

The NPP said it expects its members nationwide to demonstrate their dedication to keeping communities clean and contributing meaningfully to national development through active participation in the initiative.
