The Ghana Football Association has released the Black Stars squad for the World Cup preparation camping exercise scheduled to run from May 25 to June 2, 2026, as preparations intensify ahead of upcoming international assignments.
The squad features a blend of experienced players and emerging talents, with captain Jordan Ayew leading the team alongside key names such as Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The call-up also sees the inclusion of locally based players including Benjamin Asare, Solomon Agbasi, and Kwasi Sibo, highlighting the technical team’s continued interest in the Ghana Premier League.
Defenders Alexander Djiku, Alidu Seidu, and Jerome Opoku are expected to provide solidity at the back, while the attacking department boasts exciting options including Ernest Nuamah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
Young talents such as Prince Kwabena Adu and Caleb Yirenkyi have also earned spots in the squad as the Black Stars continue to build depth for the future.
The camping exercise is expected to help the technical team assess players, improve cohesion, and fine-tune strategies ahead of Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers and other major competitions.
