Rev. Michael Banson, speaking on Plan B FM’s “Nyansapo Fie” has emphasized the importance of addressing issues of misconduct or insubordination at the workplace without delay, stating that timely intervention is essential for maintaining discipline and harmony in professional environments.
According to him, when problems arise among workers, management must take swift action to resolve them before they escalate and negatively affect productivity and relationships within the organization.
However, Rev. Banson also noted that not all issues should be handled publicly. He explained that some matters require private discussions because of human ego and emotional sensitivity. Addressing certain issues openly, he said, may expose individuals to ridicule or discrimination from colleagues.
He therefore advised leaders and employers to exercise wisdom and discretion when dealing with workplace conflicts, ensuring that while discipline is maintained, the dignity of individuals is also protected.
