Lady Elizabeth Kesiwaa Nortey has urged ministers of the Gospel to uphold strong character and self-control, stressing that their actions shape how many people perceive Christ.
Speaking on Nyansapo fie show on Plan B 104.5 FM, Lady Nortey explained that men of God are seen by the public as representatives of Christ. According to her, whatever they display in their conduct and lifestyle often becomes the example people associate with how Christ works.
She cautioned that when ministers fail to build and maintain a good reputation, it can mislead those who look up to them for spiritual guidance. She noted that many believers observe the behaviour of religious leaders closely, and this makes it important for them to live in a way that reflects the values they preach.
Lady Nortey, therefore, encouraged ministers to cultivate self-control and discipline in their lives and ministry. She said that maintaining integrity and a good reputation is essential for strengthening trust and properly guiding the faith of their follower.
