The Ghana Football Association has released the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros.
Head coach Otto Addo has called up a blend of experience and youthful talent for the two crucial fixtures. Leicester City duo Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew, along with Mohammed Kudus of Tottenham Hotspur, headline the attack, while Thomas Partey (Villarreal) and Elisha Owusu (Auxerre) will marshal the midfield.
In defence, Alexander Djiku (Spartak Moscow), Mohammed Salisu (AS Monaco) and Alidu Seidu (Stade Rennais) provide solidity, with Lawrence Ati Zigi (St. Gallen) and Benjamin Asare (Hearts of Oak) among the goalkeeping options.
The Black Stars face the Central African Republic on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Morocco before hosting Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Ghana will be aiming to secure maximum points in both matches to strengthen their push for a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
