The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has confirmed a change in venue for Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic.

The Black Stars were initially scheduled to play at the El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida, but the match will now be staged at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes in Morocco.

The date and kick-off time remain unchanged, with the game set for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 16:00 GMT.

A full team of officials have been appointed to oversee the encounter. The referee for the match will be Patrice Milazare from Mauritius, assisted by his compatriot Louis Ralph Fabien Cauvelet as the first assistant referee.

The second assistant referee role will be taken by Shaji Padayachy of Seychelles, while the fourth official duties fall to another Seychellois, Noris Aaron Godfrey Arissol.

Senegal’s Fatou Gaye will act as referee assessor, with Jamal Kaouachi of Morocco serving as the match commissioner.

Nigerian official, Odochi Joan Efughu has also been appointed as the security officer for the game.
