Rev Michael Yaoo Banson, Resident Pastor of Rehoboth Holyfire Revival Ministries International, has emphasised the importance of effective time management at work.
In an interview on Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie programme with host Nana Asabea, he urged employees to be punctual and time-conscious, highlighting that wasting time can lead to delayed remuneration.
Rev Banson drew parallels with the broadcasting industry, saying: “You are racing against a sacred time, similar to broadcast media broadcasting news, and must therefore be punctual and time-conscious to avoid losing listeners.”
He also criticised public transport drivers who prioritise refuelling after loading, leading to wasted time and potential road crashes. “Public transport drivers who knowingly embark on a long five-hour journey and decide to refuel after loading, instead of before, are wasting passengers’ precious time,” he said.
In the healthcare sector, Rev Banson condemned slow attendance to patients, stating: “Nurses and doctors who attend to patients slowly, resulting in fatalities, must be condemned.”
By emphasising time management, Rev Banson highlights its significance in maintaining productivity and preventing adverse consequences across various industries.
