“God is the Master of Time: Use it Wisely” – Prophet Asante Advises

“God is the Master of Time: Use it Wisely” – Prophet Asante Advises

Prophet Isaac Asante, Head Pastor of Rhema Prayer Ministry, has urged the public and those in relationships to use their time wisely, recognising God as the master of time.

Speaking in an interview with hostess Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s social and lifestyle show, “Nyansapɔ Fie”, he emphasised the importance of asking meaningful questions during dating and courtship.

“Instead of asking frivolous questions like ‘Have you eaten?’ or ‘How was your night?’, use your time to inquire about your partner’s future and family background,” he advised.

“Only lazy individuals neglect to manage their time effectively in relationships,” he added, cautioning against ignoring red flags before marriage.

Mary Bright Abelenma Coffie, a youth counsellor, fashion designer, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Expert, commended Ghanaians for becoming more time-conscious. She referenced the Western world’s approach to time management, where time is equated with money.

“Always ask why your partner is proposing to you, to avoid wasting your time in unproductive relationships,” she advised.

She further added, “Marry your friend and love them in your youthful age, so you can get love reciprocated during old age and in fragile situations.”

Muhammad Hussain Acquah, Headteacher of T.I. Ahmadiyya Basic School in Tema and National Preaching Secretary of Ansarullah Ghana, emphasised that time is a gift from God and should be treated as such. “Think of a marriage like a garden, where love and commitment are the seeds, and time is the water, sunlight, and nourishment that helps them grow,” he said. “Use this gift wisely to find tranquility in your relationship.”

He further advised, “Be responsible with your time, whatever the situation. Have patience and seek God’s favour in all conditions associated with time, so as not to waste time in relationships. If sickness arises in either spouse, patience and seeking God’s guidance can help navigate these challenges.”
