Lack Of Integrity Is Cause Of Corruption In Ghana – Political Analyst
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) communicator for Kpone Katamanso, Samuel Aborbi, has assured Ghanaians that under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, corruption will not be entertained in government.

Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem on Plan B 104.5 FM, Mr. Aborbi stated that since President Mahama resumed office, there has not been any recorded corruption scandal because the President has cautioned all appointees that they will be held accountable when they eventually leave office.

“We in power are doing all we can to stay, and we won’t tolerate corruption. I can assure you that we will make sure corruption is brought to an end,” he emphasized.

Mr. Aborbi further advised the Attorney General, Dominic Ayine, to ensure transparency in his office. He urged him to address rumors alleging that he has been “trading cases,” cautioning that if such speculations are true, they must stop immediately.

“The NDC is here to fight corruption, and we cannot afford to let such allegations stain the government’s credibility,” he added.

According to Mr. Aborbi, the government remains steadfast in its resolve to build trust with Ghanaians by ensuring accountability and upholding integrity at all levels of governance.
