The Head Pastor of Global Ark of Grace Chapel, Rev. Sam Manful, urges parents to pray and research medications before administering them to their children, as they can affect youngsters’ growth and development.
On Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie show with host Nana Asabea, Rev. Manful advised parents to pray over medications and inquire about potential side effects.
He cautioned, “Not all donations are genuinely beneficial; parents should pray over them before giving them to children, as they may impact growth and development.”
Rev. Kusi-Boadum Kwame, Head Pastor of Graceway Fountain Ministries, echoed similar sentiments, emphasising parents’ crucial role in their children’s development.
He lamented that many parents are selfish and have hindered their children’s purposes through broken homes and poor training, warning that “one of the judgments will be on parenting.”
Mary Bright Abelenma Coffie, an Alternative Dispute Resolution expert and youth counsellor, defined parenting as guiding and nurturing children according to biblical principles. This approach, she explained, involves understanding the child’s needs and providing for their overall development.
Coffie encourages parents to create a supportive environment that allows their children to thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
