“Religions Practising Blood Sacrifice Not From God” Claims Rev Benjamin Boateng

“Religions Practising Blood Sacrifice Not From God” Claims Rev Benjamin Boateng
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Rev Benjamin Boateng, Pastor of Assemblies of God Cornerstone Family Chapel, has ignited controversy with a recent statement. Speaking on Plan B FM’s “Nyamesom Mmerɛ” programme with host Odiamono Kwaku Gyimah, he asserted that any religion still practising blood sacrifice is not of God.

Rev Boateng emphasised that Jesus Christ’s sacrifice supersedes all others, stating that “the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ with his blood supersedes all blood sacrifices” and thus, “God does not recognise or accept blood sacrifices anymore”.

His comments have sparked debate and discussion on faith and practices.

However, Pastor Daasebre Adu-Asare, leader of True Grace International Ministries, said “Every sacrifice comes with a reward, you don’t lose something and gain nothing out of it.”

He added that living a righteous life is a form of sacrifice that yields rewards from God, highlighting the value of personal dedication and devotion in one’s faith journey.
