Divine role reversal: God worships man- Clergyman claims

Divine role reversal: God worships man- Clergyman claims

A shocking revelation has sent shockwaves throughout the religious community, as Rev. Benjamin Boateng, Head Pastor of Assemblies of God Cornerstone Family Chapel, has asserted that the traditional understanding of the relationship between God and humanity has been turned on its head.

In an interview with Longman on Plan B FM’s “Nyamesom Mmerɛ” programme, Rev. Boateng claimed that God now worships humanity, rather than the other way around.

“God has come to realise that humanity’s worship is mere lip service,” Rev. Boateng stated. “Their words and actions do not align, and this hypocrisy has led to a role reversal, where God now worships humanity.”

Rev. Boateng emphasised that humanity’s inconsistent and insincere worship has caused God to re-evaluate the relationship.

In a related development, Pastor Daasebre Adu-Asare, Head Pastor of True Grace Int. Ministries, highlighted the importance of true worship. According to Pastor Adu-Asare, true worship depends on three key aspects, as outlined in the holy scriptures:

1. _Spirit_: Worship must be done in spirit, with a genuine and sincere heart.
2. _Truth_: Worship must be based on truth, aligned with the teachings of the Bible.
3. _Faith_: Worship must be done in faith, trusting in God’s power and promises.

Pastor Adu-Asare stressed that when these three aspects are present, worship becomes meaningful and acceptable to God.

Prophet Ebenezer Dunamis of Army Of God Revival Centre urged believers to focus on living a Christ-like life, with the ultimate goal of achieving everlasting life. Prophet Dunamis noted that when believers prioritise their spiritual growth and eternal destiny, their expectations from worshipping God become less materialistic.

“When we seek to live like Christ and prioritise our eternal life, we begin to see that true worship is not about what we can gain from God, but about honouring and glorifying Him,” Prophet Dunamis said.

Brother N.N Nyarko, a believer of God, attributed the cause of the country’s retardation in development to the sinful ways of believers. He cited the example of a bottle of water worth GH₵3 being sold to a fellow believer for GH₵50 because it was believed to have been made holy by a pastor’s prayer.

“How can this be?” Brother Nyarko asked. “Those who were not formally educated did not worship our God, yet they never destroyed our water bodies and forest. But we, who claim to be educated and enlightened, are the ones destroying the environment and engaging in corrupt practices.”

Brother Nyarko’s comments highlight the need for genuine faith and authentic worship, rather than superficial practices that prioritise material gain over spiritual growth and environmental stewardship.
