An excavator operator allegedly assaulted his Chinese employer at an illegal mining site (galamsey) following a dispute over unpaid wages.

The incident occurred in a remote mining area, where the operator demanded payment for his services, which he claimed had been overdue for weeks.

In a video circulatiing on social media the confrontation escalated when the employer refused to address the complaints, resulting in a physical altercation.

A passerby intervened to separate the two parties, with the Chinese employer sustaining minor injuries.
