UCC appoints Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye as new Registrar

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye as its new Registrar.

The development was finalized during the Governing Council’s 120th Regular Meeting on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Mr. Abbeyquaye’s appointment will take effect on November 1, 2024, succeeding Mr. Ebenezer Aggrey, who has been serving as the Acting Registrar.

In an official statement, UCC noted, “It is announced for the information of the University of Cape Coast Community and the General Public that the Governing Council, at its 120th Regular Meeting held on Thursday, 24th October, 2024, appointed Mr. Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye as the new Registrar of the University with effect from 1st November, 2024.”

Mr. Abbeyquaye, who has been the Director of the Directorate of Academic Affairs, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, ensuring continuity and efficiency in the administration of the university.
