Crunch IPAC Meeting: NDC supporters mass up at EC’s head office

Crunch IPAC Meeting: NDC supporters mass up at EC’s head office
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Scores of supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have massed up at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission (EC) as the electoral management body holds a crunch IPAC meeting with political parties.

The meeting was called after discrepancies were found in the provisional voters register.

The register is alleged to be fraught with various discrepancies which is said to have undermined its credibility.

The largest opposition party had proposed a live telecast of the proceedings to ensure transparency, but the electoral commission rejected the move.

With the meeting currently underway, NDC supporters have begun massing up at the EC’s office to demand its outcome.
