A communications team member of Movement for Change for Tema, Mr. Felix Kwasi Annan has lamented that, some utterances by government appointees will send the NPP to opposition.
In a panel discussion on Plan B FM’s ‘Nkosuonsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Monday, 12 August 2024, Mr. Felix stated clearly that, this is not the time for issuing threats but to get to work and better the lives of the people.
His reactions come after the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua has issued a stern warning to party Appointees as he reveals feedback from the regions indicates a troubling disconnect between some appointees and their local constituents.
Mr. Kodua’s comments come after a comprehensive review of the Bono Region, where it was noted that certain appointees are failing to maintain effective communication and engagement with their base. This lack of connection, according to sources familiar with this development could undermine the party’s efforts and influence in the region.
