Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies, have been placed in Group B for the upcoming 2024 CAF WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

The draw, which took place at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, sets them against formidable opponents from Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Niger.

Hasaacas Ladies, winners of the Ghanaian league five times, will face Nigeria’s Edo Queens, Burkina Faso’s Omnisports Etincelle, and Niger’s AS Garde National in their quest to secure a spot in the 2024/25 CAF Women’s Champions League.

They are eager to make their return to the continental stage after their runners-up finish in the inaugural edition back in 2021.

The qualifiers for the WAFU B zone are scheduled to kick off on August 10 in Abidjan, culminating in the final on August 23, 2024.

The competition promises to be intense as teams vie for the opportunity to represent their region and compete for glory in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Hasaacas Ladies will be looking to leverage their domestic success and experience to advance through a challenging group and secure their place among Africa’s elite women’s football clubs.
