The statistics also shows that Seventy percent (70%) of alcohol abusers are male.

The figure was released by the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Major General Oppong Prempeh. The overall number of mental disorders recorded annually is 1,300″ he noted.

He has therefore instructed the department of Medical Services under Ghana Armed Forces to roll out initiatives to minimize the figures.

Responding to this on Plan B Fm’s ‘Nkosuonsem’ hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi, the Founder and Leader of Captain Jesus Prayer House, Prophet Isaac Ofosuhene Gyimah said that it is very bad for a country’s security personnel to behave in such way.

“Ghana’s Security is jeopardizing because of the negligence and non-seriousness of Ghanaian leaders” he noted.
