The Central Regional secretary of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Mr Gabriel Nii Adams has alleged that the NDC party has received over 12,000 membership application letters from some alleged NPP party faithful who wanted to join the NDC in the region to canvas for votes to bring back NDC to power in 2024 to bring more development and employment in the area.

Nii Adams claimed that the New Patriotic Party’s failure to deliver their promises has necessitated their members to join the NDC in the Central Region.
He continued that, the defection is a result of the economic hardship Ghanaians are going through and has urged them to campaign for the NDC to win the 2024 general elections to enable the party to implement policies and roll out programs that will improve the living conditions of Ghanaians.
He also appealed to Ghanaians and NPP members who are fed up with the Akufo-Addo administration to join the NDC. He believes the NDC is the only party that can save Ghanaians from the current economic hardship.
