LGBTQI+: President Akufo-Addo should be bold and straightforward

LGBTQI+: President Akufo-Addo should be bold and straightforward
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

LGBTQI+ has become a very delicate issue among the Ghanaian populace in recent times most especially when President Akufo Addo has refused to condemn this abominable act whenever he gets the opportunity to do so.

Speaking on Plan B FM Morning show NKOSUONSEM, Madam Dela a peer educator stated that the President’s refusal to make his stance clear and kick against the act is unfortunate,

“if a father gives warning or command it goes down to his, so he should be bold and straightforward about the LGBTQI+ issue and if does that there will be no need for parliament to approve the bill because (Ghanaians) already hate it.”

” As a president, you need to consult the counsel of state on such critical issues but i can see the president is escaping from the pressure from the western world because he is of the fear that they will deny him loans and grants but the president should also respect the customs and traditions of the country.
